Do the presentations/papers go through a review process?

  • The proposals go through a review process. The reviewers include members of our library teams including: Access Services, Archives, Collection Development, Research Services, and our Director.

Can more than one person present during the same 15-minute Lightning Round presentation?

  • No (due to the short presentation time).

As a vendor, can I submit a proposal for a presentation?

  • Only proposals from vendors submitted in conjunction with a librarian at an institution of higher education will be considered in the proposal evaluation process.

How does one purchase print copies of the proceedings?

  • To order copies of previous years' proceedings, please visit Registration and select "Pay by Check" or "Pay by Credit or Debit Card"

As a presenter, is there a discount for attending the conference? If so, how is this applied?

  • Yes, pricing details can be found here.

Have I registered?

  • Registrants are notified by email upon the receipt of their registration.

How do I register after the deadline?

  • To register after the deadline, please contact contact us at (660.562.1193).

I need the FEIN to process a request for payment - actually I need a W-9.

What is your policy on cancellations?

  • Cancellations must be made via email to bcpro@vaftizo.com. Only cancellations received 10 working days before the date of the conference will result in a refund.  Substitutions are welcome at any time, just let us know before 1:00 pm of the Wednesday before the conference.

What are the networking opportunities at Brick & Click?

On even years, when the conference is in-person:

  • Pre-conference dinner, breakfast, lunch, networking afternoon break

On odd years, when the conference is online:

  • Because of the time constraints presented by the online format, networking opportunities are not scheduled.

I am a library science graduate student. How do I verify this to get the student rate?

  • Submit a letter of verification from your advisor or the dean of the program with your registration form.

Is the conference offered in person or online?

  • Even years: in-person (2022, 2024, 2026...)
  • Odd years: online (2021, 2023, 2025...)

Can I/we change the title of my/our presentation?

  • Title changes can be made for accepted presentations up to the copyright deadline. Once the copyright form is received, no changes may be made.
